User Roles at SiteRecon

Understand what each user role in SiteRecon can access and control.

User roles in SiteRecon are divided into four levels, each with defined permissions. When you assign a role to a user, they gain access corresponding to that role’s capabilities. The roles are as follows:

Admin

Admins have full control over the workspace and user management. They can:

  • Manage all workspace settings and user roles.
  • Order new properties.
  • View and Edit all the properties in the workspace.
  • Access and Edit all the views of all the properties in the workspace.
  • Configure the workspace’s credit system.
  • Invite and assign roles to other users (Creator, Viewer, Guest).
  • Promote users to Admin or remove them from the workspace.
  • Define property-level access per user (all properties access vs. invited-only properties access).
  • Define the access level for each property in the workspace; you can choose between - Everyone in the workspace can access. Only people invited to the file can access it, or anyone at the link can access it.
  • Remove users from properties.
  • Re-invite removed users and manage user-specific access to properties and views.
  • You can invite users to a property with Editing or Viewing rights.

Creator

Creators can work actively on properties and collaborate within defined permissions. They can:

  • Order new properties.
  • View and edit properties based on access granted by the admin and the properties created by other creators.
  • Access, edit, and create multiple views of a property.
  • Invite users to properties with editing or viewing rights.
  • Define the access level of a property in the workspace, you can choose between - Everyone in the workspace can access, Only people invited to the file can access or Anyone in the link can access(public link).
  • Remove users from properties they have access to.

Viewer

Viewers have limited access focused on reviewing property data. They can:

  • View properties they’ve been granted access to by the Admin.
  • Edit properties only if explicit editing rights have been assigned.
  • Invite others to view properties they have access to.

Guest

Guests have the most limited role. They can:

  • View only the properties they have been explicitly invited to—no ordering or editing capabilities.

These roles ensure the right level of access for each team member—providing control, clarity, and collaboration across your SiteRecon workspace.
