# What are property views?
## Save and share custom versions of your property map for different teams, site visits, or stakeholders.
**Views** in Plato let you create tailored versions of a property map, so you can focus on what matters most for a specific use case. Whether you're preparing a report for a client, documenting a site walkthrough, or assigning tasks internally, Views help you organize your work without overwriting the original data.
#### **Why Use Views?**
Each view acts as a focused workspace, allowing you to:
- Share only the most **relevant notes** with your client
- Create a **task-specific view** for internal teams
- Maintain **separate views for different site visits**
- Keep property data clean and easy to manage
#### **Common Use Cases for Views**
- **Segregate notes by user** so each team member sees only what they need
- **Create a customer-facing view** that hides internal feedback or drafts
- **Track progress across multiple visits** without cluttering a single map
- **Export reports** based on a specific view for easier client handoffs
With Views, your map becomes more than a record—it becomes a tool for clarity, collaboration, and control.
