When placing an estimation order in SiteRecon, one of the most important steps is selecting the services you want included in the estimate. This determines:
- What SiteRecon will map and measure
- What production logic and pricing is applied
- Which line items will appear in your final bid
This article explains how service selection works, what to include based on property type and scope, and how this step impacts the final estimate.
How To Select Services for an Estimation Order?
Here is a step-wise process of selecting services for an estimation order at SiteRecon:
- Login to SiteRecon
- Click on “Create Property” on the dashboard

- Enter property address in the search bar

- Select “Estimation Order” and then click on “Create Order”

- Click on “Confirm Parcel”. You can draw, edit, and cut parcel at this stage as well before confirming
- After you confirm the parcel, a pop-up shows up with all the services packages. Select the packages based on your requirements.
- You can select the packages that best suit your requirements. You can also add additional services and create a custom package for yourself. You will be able to see the credit usage in real time based on the services selected for a particular order.

- Once you have selected all the relevant services, click on “Done” and then click on “Get Estimate”

- Your estimation has now been placed. You next see the progress of your order on the screen
What Services Are Available?
Your workspace will show a list of pre-configured service packages along with other services. You can select from these packages and also form a custom package from available other services.

What Happens If You Need to Add Services Later?
Once an order is placed:
- You cannot add services to an in-progress estimate.
Note: To include additional services, please contact your account manager.
To avoid delays:
- Always double-check your selected services before hitting submit.
- Involve your sales or operations team if the scope is unclear.
