How to create notes on the map?
Add location-based notes to document site conditions, assign tasks, or share visual updates with your team.
As a user, you can create geo-tagged notes directly on the map to document site conditions, service instructions, enhancement opportunities, or safety concerns. Notes can also include attachments like images, videos, and diagrams—making it easier to communicate visually and track progress.
Once a property has been created, the Notes feature helps you monitor job status, highlight issues, and share site-specific insights across teams.
How to Create a Note:
-
Click on the "Note" tab on your screen.
Move your cursor to the desired location on the map. Click once to drop the note pin.
This will open a pop-up with fields for a template, title, and description.
(Optional) Select a note template that best suits your purpose.
No need to type everything out—templates do the heavy lifting so you can just plug in the details and move on. One less thing to stress about.
Enhance your note with additional options:
- Assign to a team member – Enable the assignee option and select a user from the dropdown.
- Attach media – Upload relevant images, videos, or documents.
- Add tags – Organize notes using predefined or custom tags for better tracking and filtering.
At any point, you can click outside of the pop-up to return to the map screen. Then click on the note icon to disable it
Saving & Viewing Notes
Once you're done, click “Done” to save the note. It will appear in the Notes panel on the right side every time you open the property page.
This makes it easy to keep track of site-specific observations, client requests, or work in progress—all in one place, visible to your entire team.
