How to create a custom feature layer?
Define and map custom features specific to your workflows, enhancements, or site needs.
After a property has been approved, you can create custom features and layers directly on the map. These custom layers allow you to extend SiteRecon’s capabilities to suit your unique operational, planning, or estimation needs.
You can use custom features to:
- Map and measure site elements not supported by SiteRecon (e.g., fire hydrants, sinkholes, drains).
- Visually plan enhancements (e.g., pavement extensions, new turf areas, flower bed installations).
- Create sub-features for detailed planning (e.g., 36" mower turf vs. 72" mower turf).
- Plan operational workflows (e.g., mower paths, weed spray routes, snow piling zones).
